I love storms too, don't even mind being out in them, unless it's a hail storm. That's painful. I know because we were once caught in one unexpectedly, me, my three year old and the one year old in his stroller. It took the baby a while to get over that. it was over in seconds and not nearly as bad as the one you've described here.
