Eleven-plus kids.
Five mothers.
One Gramma.

Picking raspberries. Roasting hot dogs. Hiking through the bush.
Umm . . .
Would it be cliche to say that a good time was had by all?
Because it was . . .

ReplyDeleteHeeHee! That's what comes of eating as fast as you pick . . .
DeleteRaspberry jelly. Elixir! My dad said it was worth seeds under his bridges. As children that was a mysterious statement to us, but now I know he was right.
ReplyDeleteSeeds under bridges just lets you enjoy the good old raspberry that much longer. Right?
DeleteLooks like you had fun! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog recently. I just started following you on Google+. Blessings! Nicki
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicki! And welcome!
DeleteDiane, your grandkids are SO sweet! And no doubt it was exhausting, but you adults made wonderful memories for those little ones to pull out when they're as old as we are :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you're right! They all had so much fun. Running and playing in the bush. What a fabulous day! Reminded me of days spent at my Gramma Berg's. Over fifty years ago...
DeleteRaspberry picking and grilled hotdogs! What a wonderful day. Everyone looks so happy and they are all beautiful.
ReplyDelete"grandchild 12, any minute now", my niece looks like that, her baby is due in about three weeks.
I feel for her. Huge pregnant in the heat of the summer. Ugh!
DeleteIt's winter here so G is doing okay, but I feel for your daughter having been heavily pregnant three times through our Aussie summer.
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting that everyone isn't suffering through the same weather we are! Being at the centre of the universe as I am . . . :)
