28th Anniversary of my 29th Birthday

Early in October, I celebrated the 28th anniversary of my 29th birthday.
Go ahead.
Do the math.
We'll wait . . .
It was a wonderful time.
Good friends.
Good food prepared by someone else.
Beautiful beaches.
Fun shopping.
And amazing activities.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I just had to share.

The view from our bedroom window in the day.

Same view at night.

The local  groundskeeper. Keeping the grounds.

The view from the beach.

Drinks with friends on said beach.

My Birthday dinner with my good friends.

My Sweetie and me. Snapped as I was eating the blueberries from my lemonade. Mmmm.

They are very friendly down in Mexico.

Very friendly indeed.
Please, please come home with me. I have a bathtub!

Today, it snowed in Edmonton.
Need I say more?
Sigh.

  1. I love seeing all the photos of your trip! How fun! What a memorable way to spend your birthday... I'm so excited you could do that! :)

So sorry about the snow... it just comes too early every year, doesn't it? It was 80 degrees in Mesa when we left my sister's house yesterday... I wish I could go back!

  3. Happy Birthday...don't worry, I didn't bother to do the math. My gran started counting backwards when she was 30...she was 3 when she passed away.

  4. What a nice birthday present. It is always better to be someplace warm and beautiful when you know it is snowing back at home.

    1. You are SO SWEET! I've wanted to swim with the dolphins since I used to watch the program 'Flipper' back in the early sixties. It was time! :)
