Happy Pi(e) Day!

March 14.
3.14
Pi.
What better way to celebrate that with PIE?!
Okay, yes, I know, it's a bit of a reach, but that's what the Tolleys do.
Reach.
And eat pie.
My daughter and I spent much of yesterday making 58 of the little beauties.
You're all invited. Everyone's welcome.
See you later?
What better way to celebrate than with pie?!

  1. Last year on pie day I suggested you send one over here....it hasn't arrived yet.....did you lose my address?

  2. That is a LOT of pie, I'm sure I don't need to tell you. But it all looks wonderful!

  3. I was thinking of Pi(e) Day because of last year's post! But I decided my diet wouldn't allow for half a pie, which is what I'd eat if I made one. (Hubby would claim the other half, darn it.) If I lose enough weight, I will partake NEXT year. Happy eating, you!

    1. We set a new record for most pie consumed by a single individual, Jenny. 10.5 pieces in the course of the evening! Ouch! I'll set one aside for you if you can come. Just let me know . . .

    1. The lattice-top pies on the far side were rhubarb-strawberry. And quite a few of the others as well.

  7. WOW! When I saw this post on my tiny phone screen this morning, I though you meant you baked 58 little tarts. Now what I am seeing is enough to supply a grocery store! I am impressed!

    1. The way the teenagers went to town on them, they looked like little tarts! By the time I finished baking, we had 71. And they're all gone. there isn't even a smell left!
